My day today.
Hey all, just got back from a long day taking photos, I had to take film though so can’t upload any to you just yet.
So, yesterday I was at a party, It wasn’t all that good, and we ended up leaving half way through to go back to my friends house and have our own little social gathering, anyway that’s not interesting - I wake up this morning, a little worse for ware and realise that today is the day I’ve planed to go out and take some photos for college, i cant cancel it again as I was meant to go out on Friday, and then on Saturday and the deadline for the unit is closely approaching. So we set off not knowing where we want to go, or even what we intended to take photos of, we drove about for a bit and eventually ended up in Hartlepool! - Oh joy. we parked up and headed through a tunnel that lead us to what I can only describe as a wasteland, masses of building crumbled across the land, ruins of industry and 3 large "water holes" Im not entirely sure what these things were once used for, but they made for some nice photos.
As I previously mentioned I was using a film camera so until they get developed (at college) I don’t have anything to show you but maybe I’ll post some of my friends, or just check back in a later post for mine.
Around us there where a group, well groups of people - chavs, hey its Hartlepool. Grown men playing on quad bikes and drinking at 2PM how very classy, strangely enough we didn’t get the usual abuse hurled at us.
We then left Hartlepool and ventured off to the giant windmills - which we original were trying to find an entrance to. The pure scale of these structures is overwhelming and something you don’t realise until your standing parallel to one. Of course I had to get a photo of myself standing next to it, purely to show the scale of it. It was cold, naturally and the wind was piercing.
We then decided to head off home, not before stopping off at KFC for the great Popcorn chicken snack box - £1.99 can’t beat it.
