Sinulog Festival 2009
Every 3rd Sunday of January hundreds of thousands of people (2.1 million this year) flock to Cebu City to celebrate the Sinulog Festival. It is an annual festival that commemorates the Cebuano people's pagan past and Christian present through a dance ritual on 6km of road within the city center and a finale at the sports complex. I decided to join in the festivities this year and with my trusty 450D took some photos of the street dancing. Around 6pm my feet were killing me, so me and a couple of friends decided to hang out at a local mall to continue with the festivities. Was pretty sore the next day, but it was worth it. Pit Senor desu!
