Sounds of Beijing- Xiang Shan Park Bubbles

Recorded June 12, 2009. After a long walk we came to rest at the large man made pond near the entrance to the park. The wildlife was singing their dusk chorus as the sun set over the distant mountains. As we relaxed for a bit, i kept hearing these faint popping sounds. I went closer to the pond to investigate and saw that it was coming from the sea of water plants. It could have been the plants or underwater wildlife but it was strange to hear nonetheless.
