Carving out the shapes
Today I woke up to three little pieces of dried clay bricks waiting fo me to carve them!
Before carving the shapes out i drawed the motives on them so i'd have lines to follow. As you see they also have little silver loops at the top so they can be hung on a necklace. Before even making the clay bricks I made the loops with a triangular body so that when I stuck them in to the middle of the fresh and wet clay i could press the clay together knowing it would keep the loop stabil and not just slide out.
As you can se I have carved out the basic shapes on both of them now, the next step will be to smoothen all the edges and then work on the depth on them. I for example want the foxes eyes to stand out like big bulging eyes :].
Im not sure how it will turn out but Im hoping for the best :D.
