Pumpkin Picking on an American farm

Pumpkin picking in America is, well American, it's like a farm made by Disneyland in partnership with wholefoods. Camilla, Chelsea and I went out for a quick spin to New Jersey last weekend, just to get out. Dodging the miserable weather we stumbled across this little farm, with a giant corn maze, a petting zoo, a whole foods market and a pumpkin picking patch. Just a 45min drive from Manhattan, it wasn't bad at all. I got some great HD footage of Chelsea VS a pig, a rooster and a cow. Chelsea lost in all 3 rounds.

The vignette effect around the images is due to the 2 lens filters I had one, one a UV filter and the other a sun filter. Worked out rather nice without the need for post production.

the polarizing filter on the front of the lens really helped with the colors that day. I was pleasantly surprised how they ended up, real Halloween like.

Nice to be able to get out in the countryside and pick your own pumpkin. It looks like lovely Autumnal weather. Chelsea looks like she was having great fun. Hope you are going to carve a big halloween face into your pumpkin and you know you can make soup with the flesh. I'm sure you have all these great intentions just like me........ Just added a video from that day which looks amazing here in 1920 X 1080 P (True HD) from the Canon 5D Mark ii with the wide angle lens. However, youtube takes ages to convert it so the above is the HQ version. Mom/Dad, im sure you will get a kick out of the Rooster thing.

She is so cute, don't think Bertie would have even got to the fence! What is Chelsea dressing up as tonight? I got my own Pumpkin there for £2....still gotta carve it out mind. Going to a Halloween Charity Ball tonight dressed as BatGirl...should be fun. Will pop up some photos after my hangover tomorrow. Only 3 more weeks till I come over! Yeay
