@ Guatavita
Guatavita is this beautiful and small town located in Cundinamarca, Colombia. In 1967 the city was moved and rebuilt in a colonial style. Because the city was made all at once, all the buildings (in the center of the town) have the same look, and that make it such a nice place.
The old city was flooded to create the Tominé water reservoir. Some say that when the waters are low, you can see the top of the old church.
Near this little town, the Guatavita lagoon is located. Is a perfectly rounded lagoon (some say was made by a meteorite) placed way up high above the sea level (more than 2.700m I think?). In this place, a lot of time ago, the Muiscas bath his Cacique (tribe chief) into the waters of Guatavita, while he was covered with gold. And that’s how the legend of El Dorado was created :)
