Vacaciones @ Medellin

Last week I came back from some few days of vacations at my home town Medellín. Since a moved a year ago, I haven’t visited the town; so I went there to say hi to the family and the old friends (and to celebrate my birthday!).
It was only a week but we manage to do several things. Among those things, we visit the new “Explora” park (and its great aquarium!!) and the famous Christmas “alumbrados” from the city (xmas lights across the river that divides the city). Of course, I took some pictures so more about that later (I have a lot of raw files to export).
For those who don’t know. Medellín is the second largest city in Colombia (the 91 by metropolitan area in the world*). A beautiful city placed in the middle of mountains. Too bad is very hot right now (I keep cursing you, El Niño!!).
*The city I’m living now it’s the number 31.. I don’t want any more big cities. I want a modern but small town. Anyone can give me a job in Munich?
