EA.com
Fi is excited to announce the launch of EA.com, Electronic Arts' flagship site.
Fi and EA worked together to create a destination site for gamers of all demographics – young or mature, veteran gamers or newbies, loyal EA customers and those soon-to-be. The site promotes all EA games, highlights amazing content and provides the user with a one-stop-shop for browsing and purchasing all game titles and other media.
EA is arguably the world's premier interactive entertainment software company - global in its reach and unparalleled in its fan base. Fi is an expert at understanding what drives consumer decisions online and at being able to carefully test and analyze EA’s loyal audience. The pairing was a natural fit. Fi's institutional and industry knowledge combined with analytics, search engine optimization and online product placement know-how yielded a destination which met EA's multiple business goals.
Knowledge of what keeps one consumer base engaged and returning and another more apt to purchase were combined together accomplishing the overall project goals. The new portal serves as a destination whereby EA could learn as much about its users as its users could learn about EA’s products. We urge you to visit EA.com and experience all that it has to offer.
The EA team were great partners - creative, engaged and responsive. They're exceptional to work with and share our same passionate drivers. Fi will continue it's relationship with EA as we develop the next stages of the strategic vision.
Happy gaming to all!

great client, clean site.. as usual!! good work guys. but i also have to say most of your last work looks the same so its hard to tell the difference of a wii site and ea.com eg. so please add more different styles and extract the essence of the client to create something unique like you did in the past!

Great! I like the details, like the buttons and stuff. The animations are very smooth!
Lots of content and all kinds of content, but you still managed to keep the overall picture clear. Very user friendly. Well done!

I can't stop playing with the whole site and looking at the code. I think the thing I'm most amazed at when it comes to "under the hood" is how clean the code is. It's a thing a beauty under there. Another great job by you guys at Fi, elevating that bar ever so much higher.

Wow, this is a very large project. I'm surprised I haven't heard from it earlier. It's great though, typically Fi styled. The only thing I'm missing a lil bit is the whole style of EA. First, they had this dark, tough and hardcore gamer kind of style. :-)
But that's not your thing so I guess it's fine... If you would continue the whole EA style, there would be no fun, right? :D
Good luck!

Great! I absolutely like the site! Fantastic eye for detail in many ways (I like the buttons and navigation). The animations are very smooth!
Despite the big amount of (different) content, it's a bright site which makes a lot of sense.
Well done FI!

You should change your OSX style, almost all your latest releases have looked really similar, in fact this release (EA) looks similar than Kontain.
My qualification
Design: 4. Sorry, it needs work, concept, research
Development: 9
Functionality: 8
User friendly: 8

Another great site guys, clean simple and easy to navigate through. Theres so many nice features that enhance user experience, I love the constantly changing EA logo depending on which game you are viewing and the large background images as well. It's a bit buggy however in a few places and I'm surprised to see a video player with almost no control over video. Optimisation is good, I'd remove all those code comments and there's 2 H1 tags on each page which is a no no. Also the page jumps to different pages when viewing different media which I dont like. I do agree that this site looks similar to a few others you've done.
Overall it's another great site form Fi!

I did n't like it.. it looks too simple, games websites r not suppose to b this simple, i mean look at gamespot . it's the best ever. EA should be more serious than this.. and also... it feels like I'm still in Kontain when I'm surfing there, same style, same look and feel.
this is what i think guys, please don't' get me wrong.. but u'r alot greater than that.
best wishes :)

i wonder if it was another company who made this other than FI .. would the people here still say the same things about quality.. phenomenal.. and such big words .. the website has some browser issues as most of FI's non-flash work !

For me gamespot is the king of gaming sites, I there everyday and its the only gaming site I go to. It's so comprehensive and so well balanced considering all the content within each page. It's definitely a gaming site for sure and they actually do really really well for SEO which show just how good the site is.

I agree completely. (See my comment above)
EA had this dark, tough style, like Gamespot. And the style is more Kontain-like than EA.
It's a great style though, really. But not the style that belongs to EA Games. Sorry.
Good luck...

Maybe they can't create always something unique and somethimes it isn't needed. The desing is very nice and I love the details but yes.. there are some browser issues. But it is better then the examples typed here.

Reading all the comments (spanning from “Don’t like it” to “Hip hip hooray”) I thought I’d have a look at it and judge for myself. My conclusion is that yes it has some browser issues here and there, and yes it feels a little like Kontain, (which in my opinion is not a bad thing but the opposite) but overall it looks and feels great I think. People say its looks too simple, I say simplicity rules and if you can make a huge site like this look and feel simple you have succeeded. I really love the game browsers.
If I should point out something I would perhaps have preferred some type of colour or gradient in the header area, or maybe have it semitransparent, showing the different background images behind it. But perhaps that would have make things difficult for the changing EA logo.
Gamespot looked great a few years ago, with crispy details and uniform look, then they decided to downgrade the design to something “just about ok”.
