Photoshop - Seagull
Browsing Kontain tonight and got inspired to try some Photoshop tricks and techniques I've seen some others using. I've never really tried the desaturate technique I've seen around on my photos but I love the effect and tone it can create in an image. I think it turned out fairly well. I definitely need to experiment more with a little more vibrant picture I think. Comments and feedback are most welcome please!
**UPDATE
As requested! You can also download a version of my psd if you're curious.
Step 1 - I meshed the original clouds with another image of the sky from another photo I'd taken that day.
Step 2 - I modified the Hue and Saturation / Levels / Brightness and Contrast and Curves of the Image.
Step 3 - I added a Black & White adjustment to the sky and fiddled with the settings to really bring out a bunch of different depths and shades in the sky.
Step 4 - The Final Image, I adjusted the coor balance a little bit and then I toned down the saturation on the image. I then added in a little black around the bottom to drag more emphasis up to the seagull and sky.
