H-MINUS Productions Logo Intro

description of image

H-MINUS gave me the opportunity to create there cinematic logo intro to precede all their films. There was not a lot of direction aside from it needing to be ominis and a little dark., There logo was in white with the dash being a bright orange.

The overall style I ended up going with was and old grainy look with the logo treated in 3d to look like it was formed in vines that had long since dried up. The dash was given a bright glowing effect to off set the look of the vines and to add an unknown feeling of life as if something was about to happen. (for instance the film that would follow)

The logo debuts in front of Conor Oberst's Documentary "One of My Kind"

I suggest you should remove the first 5 seconds, it is not neccessary adding too much lenght. Try make the graphic more photo realistic looking. You have something good here but you need to improve it before it should appear on a commercial production.

Thanks for the feedback Andy, the version on the documentary is in fact shorter and unfortunately web compression completely destroys the look of it. I'll have to post a couple stills when I get a second.

What do you think?
