The Land that Time Forgot

Here are some shots from the walk through Riccarton Bush in Christchurch. There are Kiwi's in this bush but because they're nocturnal, you rarely get to see them. It's a beautiful place. I tried to get a few pics of the fantails but they move so quickly, I only managed to get a blurry shot.
My previous post entitled "Bouquet of Summer" was flowers from the gardens around Riccarton House.

I'd love to walk through there except my wife has a bad case of hay fever so she'd definitely not want to go.

Thanks guys. It's such a beautiful place to visit, and the part with the hedgy archways looks like Dr. Seuss land. You almost expect a Sneetch to come out from behind a bush ... but I guess they're all at the beach, lol.
@Max. That's a shame. You do end up with leaves and bits in your hair so I imagine there are all kinds of hay fever nasties floating about in there. Do those hay fever pills help?
