Freelance Whales
Stumbled upon these guys on a Saturday afternoon in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Forty+ people crowding the streets watching on, including this little guy. They're called the Freelance Whales, you can listen to them here - thefreelancewhales.com, my pick Generator First Floor. Impressed by the quality of street performers about. On my way home via Union St station, 2 tapdancers, a drummers and a pianist entertained almost twice that many. Talented. I may be biased to any act who makes the effort to cart a piano to a gig.
