Music makes you lose control

Hi guys!
Here is my entry for the Sennheiser headphone design contest ! The goal was to create a graphic design to print on a Sennheiser HD 418 Headphone. I wanted to convey a sharp but peaceful mood to the headphones, and when you think about it : what can fit better the music universe than a colorful bird ? I thought that the cardinal would really fit the theme!
As I really like the global mood of it, I decided to create a more sober and simple composition using the bird which will be printed in A1 format.
