New Camera!

Today I decided it was about time to take my photography to the next level. It was time to get a DSLR. I didn't quite have enough for a high end camera <cough> So at this point, it was about buying into a system. Concentrating on decent glass and then as my confidence grows and funds permit, stuff can be upgraded.
As such after handling both Nikon and Canon cams, I plumped for a Nikon D3000 with a 2 lens kit of 18-55mm and 70-300mm.
Just taking a couple of shots around the place blew me away with the increase in quality from what I thought was an excellent bridge camers - my Panasonic FZ18.
I'm hoping to get out and about properly tomorrow to give the Nikon a real go.
